Loved this unique look at a bodyswap. It's a great character piece on Derek and what Derek might feel suddenly given the opportunity to live Stiles life instead of his own.

So there he is, with no memories of what happened, the last couple of weeks like a blank line in his mind and knowing all too well that he’s the best shot they have at catching this guy. As a key witness and in acute, assumed danger, he finds himself under surveillance 24/7 and more often than not, his dad’s best Deputy: Derek Hale, is sitting at his kitchen table.

Summary: Mr. Hale is a pretty creepy English teacher, Stiles thinks, but he also happens to have a great ass.

This is a classic "age-disparity teacher/student wrong, flithy, hot, omg... they are going to get caught what are they doing never stop" type fic. Peter is quite morally grey but more on the happy to seduce an underage boy, and the less serial killer type of ~grey. If this is your kink, it's a delicious read.

Summary: Sheriff Stilinski wanted it stated for the record that he wasn't an idiot. He knew Stiles was up to his ears in something. There were too many nights sneaking out or in, too many coincidences, too many fumbled silences for him not to realize something was up, and it was escalating.
It wasn't any of the usual things, but when whatever it was landed his son in the hospital with a bullet in his leg, it was the last straw.

Fantastic Sheriff-centric fic. It's a clever, plotty fic told through Sheriff's POV as he finally has too much of Stiles lies and just can't accept them any longer. Wonderful read and packed full of Stilinki Feels.

This was not the fic I was expecting! It’s a great Lydia-centric piece, focusing on her decision to get the fuck out of Beacon Hills and leave behind the bruises and the mortal threats and be the fabulous person she is supposed to be. When she heads back into town I could FEEL her skin itch as she encountered one person after another who reminded her of all she left behind. Needless to say, the focu isn’t erica/lydia, but it’s a nice bonus. :)

Apparently Sex Pollen Is A Thing or Hunters Are Dicks With Too Much Time On Their Hands by ladyoneill

Summary: The Alpha Pack's been defeated, junior year has started, and Stiles, accompanied by a formerly dead ex-Alpha, finds himself chased through the woods by Hunters. When they're caught, they're shot with arrows laced with sex pollen, and before the night ends Stiles is no longer a virgin and is mated unwillingly to a wolf over twice his age. Can they make their new relationship work or is it all just going to be horror and really great sex?

This is a rare beast: a long Peter/Stiles fic! I don’t think this is fic for everyone, so I’ll give some warnings. The initial catalyst is Peter being given some sex pollen thing and basically forced to rape Stiles. It’s not an easy read, but both Peter and Stiles are victims at that point. However, during the rape, Peter (out of control) bites Stiles and voila! they are mated which comes with all kinds of wolfy-rules about such things. So the fic is basically about Stiles dealing with the fact that he is now mated to Peter against his will. Some of it made me very uncomfortable because I have issues with helplessness/forced submission, but I think the characterisation of both Peter and Stiles in the situation were well done. And Scott as well, he was the voice of the reader going: this is not right. The way the others ~accepted things was unsettling. Stiles does not give in easily although there is ‘no way out’ of the mating and such (reader just needs to accept that as that’s the entire premise of the fic) but in the end Stiles is pragmatic. Note: the author does slip in the occasional epithet and the word ‘cum’ … But I am reccing it because I did enjoy it even if it walked the line of some of my squicks, and I know many of you share my kinks. so. The best part for me is that the sex is always hot and Peter does do his best to make Stiles enjoy the sex that they are ~forced to have.

Blood Pounding in Our Veins by minusoneday

Summary: Stiles figured that Mrs. McCall finding out Scott’s secret would change things, but he’s completely unprepared for the very first thing she does, which is to invite Isaac to move in with her and Scott.

I think this was a nice plotty read, though is straddles an odd line for some readers when it comes to pairings. The focus of the fic is Stiles/Danny, but there are plenty of hints of Stiles/Derek. If anything, I would call it ‘Stiles/Derek pre-slash’. It has lots of lovely Stiles/Danny, so if you enjoy stiles/danny and as long as you don’t mind Sterek hovering in the shadows waiting to pounce, you should enjoy this one. (also warning for the ‘scott deserts stiles for isaac’ trope, which eventually works out. jsyk)

AND I have to mention this bit of coolness, a bunch of TW fans got together and created a fanmade magazine called Neckz N Throats. First Issues is out:


It's set inside a Teen Wolf AU where a werewolf-focused magazine would be available. And it's basically brilliant. (those of you who haven't heard of 'Neckz N Throats', there are also many fics set in this 'verse all based on the concept of an AU with werewolfs mags.) And I love them all.
