This is a complete AU set in a prison (though it does not have a lot of the prison trope type stuff, it’s just the backdrop for this fic). I love the simplicity of this, just a moment of connection between two people who have had their lives fucked over.

This is a story about Jackson Whittemore. It starts when he is eleven years old, and ends on a cold cement floor in the basement of a burned-out house.

This fic has an interesting spin on the omegaverse, but the real selling point for this fic is the character study of Jackson. I love the look at his motivations in canon and how they can be translated into a different type of universe where the source of his inadequacy issues is clearly defined.

It’s really all a hot mess that somehow works.

I really loved the build up to the relationship here. Lots of awkward 'is this really happening?' stuff going on in Stiles head, and not a lot of unnecessary explanation/talking it through on either Lydia or Jackson's part.

Hot like burning and just the right amount of feels. Even though this is just a PWP, I LOVED the Isaac characterisation. There was a lot of depth there in his conditioned belief that there are all these ‘rules’ of what he is allowed to do and not and Derek in Alpha mode adds a mess of confusion to all Isaac’s issues.

This is a rare Scott/Derek, made even more rare with Bottom!Derek, Submissive!Derek. This really worked for me because Scott doesn’t take to the role of Alpha easily and Derek understands himself well enough to know he's not a good leader and not comfortable in that role. The fic takes its cues from Scott's first full moon in S1 (as this will be his first full moon as an Alpha), rather than the every day adorable puppy dog Scott. The whole scenario was hot.

Summary: Okay, so maybe Danny's type is Serial Killers.

Mind the warnings on this one. It is definitely different. Stiles is not just BAMF in this, he is sadistic. And Danny gets off on it. It’s definitely a journey into OOC-land, but Stiles does have moments of ‘can’t we just let him die’ in canon, so … it’s up to the reader how OOC they find it. I was really in the mood for something completely out of the ordinary. Also, it’s very readable, but it would benefit from a beta to catch a few typos/extra words.

I really loved this look at Danny who was seeing way more than everyone thought he was. His concern for Stiles’ bruises was heartwarming. The result was a sweet, sweet fic.

It is a really delightful fic that is a bit of character study of both Stiles and Danny and the result is so much better than porn. <3

I loved this Erica. She was fabulous, and Stiles and Erica really worked for my as a couple. This fic has a surprising amount of sex and UST for PG-13, so warnings for fade-to-black, but the fic is plenty hot, if not explicit about it. I would love to see this type of Erica next season. (I'd love to see the threesome as canon, too but yeah.)

There is implied Derek/Stiles, but it’s mostly a charming gen piece about a crisis situation and two great characters playing off each other perfectly.

This is a fun gen fic, that is simply a conversation between Danny and Jackson about Stiles. Very amusing. (even with the random * instead of italics)

Summary: Stiles will keep his father alive by any means necessary.

This is a perfect example of how powerful gen fic can be. Sometimes we forget (or at least I forget) how wonderfully satisfying a story can be simply for the characters and the story itself without the need for x/y to get together. That said, this fic is gorgeous in the story it tells of Stiles faced with his father in the hospital and severely injured. Read the warning if you aren’t sure. They are in the notes at the end of the fic.

Summary: It would be wrong to pretend that Jackson doesn’t plan. By the time he’s standing in front of the maternity ward, hood drawn up over his head, he’s got it as figured out as he can.

What can I say? Messed up Jackson stealing the baby of the woman Matt killed and running away... OMFG. My heart. I'm not much for kid fics in general. But there is something so wonderfully and achy in the idea of Jackson, totally messed up Jackson, seeing himself in this orphaned baby and stealing her and fucking up his own life even more to give her something better. This is beautifully done, touching and healing type of fic.
