marguerite_26This morning I filled the kettle, plugged it in, added the tea bags to the teapot, then immediately poured the cold water from the kettle into the pot. I stared at it for a while trying to figure out exactly what I did wrong.
I then started again by dumping the water from the teapot down the sink and pouring the cold water from the tap INTO THE TEAPOT instead of the kettle.
I think I finally have it down now. *headdesk*
I am going to meme to make myself feel better about how stupid this morning has been. So...

I have resisted this shiny meme because I am so behind on comments. But my career fair is almost submittable (I have title!) and my dark fest is almost submittable (i have ending!) and my hd hols has a full outline (I have plot!) so dammit, I'll meme if I want to.

ETA - I have tea! delicious, hot, milky tea. and toast and raspberry jam. *happy sigh*

I was out shopping with my daughter yesterday and did something really daft and she pointed it out and I just had to shrug and take the shame. What's even worse it that now I can't remember what it was. Bloody dementia! All I remember is the pitying look on her face.
