Hey guys! Remember when I asked you to list me your favourite Next Gen Fics of the past 12 months and then I made Next Gen and Next Gen Cross Gen rec lists?

Well that was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back in spring of 2009. And I’ve checked the stats and people still use these regularly (I know I do!) But they are massively out of date, right? So let’s do that again.

Using the header below list me your favourite Next Gen Fics since Spring of 2009. I’m not going to go crazy on the dates here – I’m just looking for stuff that is not already on the original rec lists. These recs can be het, slash, femslash or gen. They must contain ONE Next gen character in the main pairing (or as a main character if gen). Duplicates are fine, but they are only added once to the rec list so you might want to consider picking fics not already listed.


The list below will not include Albus/Scorpius recs, only for the sake of keeping the size manageable. The lovely besamislabios is collecting AS/S RECS HERE.


How do I find these old fics to rec?
A few fests to remind you of: hp_nextgen_fest, hd_sas, hp_cross_fest, nextgendarkfest there are also next gen fics in the hp_yule_balls and hp_springsmut... and others that I fail to remember right now.

As well crack_broom’s Next Gen tag and Next Gen Cross Gen tag. snegurochka_lee’s Next Gen Rec Tag is also a fantastic resource.
