About the Timing:
Okay so January 10th is FOREVER AWAY. We know this. But we need November to not fail at merlin_holidays (and so do many of you... *modly scowl*). And December is also an insane time for everyone soooo... there will be lots of writing/drawing time for this one.

We’ll be posting reminders and discussions during November and December to get you guys inspired.

About the Kink:
Slavefic is a fanfiction genre in which one character is enslaved to another. Some slavefics are set in an alternate universe where slavery is an accepted economic and cultural institution. Some stories treat this as a significant moral problem to be resisted and overthrown if possible; others treat slavery as an unchangeable institution.

What we’re NOT looking for: BDSM fics/art with slavery play. (We LOVE BDSM but for this challenge, we don’t want to conflate these kinks. We are looking for situations where the ‘slave’ is not consenting to their situation. But note that this does not mean the sexual situations have to be non-consensual as well.)

Related kinks/themes include: prisoner/captor fics, warlords and their warprizes, dub-con, non-con, bondage, collars and leashes, tattooing/branding, whipping/caning, powerplay, sense deprivation, chastity devices, orgasm denial/control, magical enslaving devices/spells.

This “kink” is by no means restricted to the sexual spectrum. Give us your rated Gs and SFWs - as long as it fits the theme, it’s welcome.

You don’t need to sign up/tell us you are writing/tell us you lost your muse. This is all very casual. We just want a MORE OF THIS KINK. But part of the point of all this is to post all these fics on the same day. If you are late, we understand. But we are aiming to be flooded with slave fic/art for a day.
