We're starting scheduling for our Friday night LONG ARSE FIC posts at

hp_weekend_fics. Starting in June we'd like to post a new fic, of 25k+ each Friday.

Please comment on our feeler post to put your name down if you are working on something that you might want to have showcased at the comm.

This isn't a commitment. You aren't signing in blood. But if you've got a Haiti fic that's climbing up in the word count or that LLAM fic that's has crept past 30k or maybe a big ~~band~~ bang fic that you've missed a deadline for and it might be ready in the next 6 months, drop us a note.

If you don't want to proclaim to the Internet at Large that you are working on something epic, just PM me or

ineffably_roma or send an email to hp.weekend.fics@gmail.com. Your name will not be added to any public schedule until you say your fic is close to done and we work out a posting date with you.

so... right. I brought procrastination to a new level yesterday. There are no words for how productive I was at everything but actually writing. :D

I have exciting news though!!! a new comm! (well there's two I need to talk about, but I'll pimp vaysh and chantafable's one later) For now, let's talk about long and plotty fics. I don't write them, but MAN do I love them. I adore getting lost in a story and just... yeah... you know what I'm talking about. Where nothing else fills your head but that complex universe and the well fleshed-out cast of characters? That's just an incredible experience.

romaine24 and looks like a lot of fun. We are starting with what will be a FANTASTIC fic this Sunday. Long plotty (and maybe a bit prony) goodness by a wonderful author.

♥ A single fic of at least 25k in length, posted Friday night
♥ Dedicated posting of chapters of one long completed fic (~10k a night or every other night)
♥ When no new fics are available we will post a Friday rec of a beloved older fic of 25k+

We'll be starting with m/m slash fics, but eventually we'd like to post two fics per weekend one of slash and one of het, femmeslash or gen depending on the fics that are offered to be posted to the comm.

Feel free to promote this new comm, and share the plotty love with all your flist.
