I've been getting all excited for Saturday's Merlin because MITHIAN! I loved her. I'm happy to see her back. I totally ship her with Merlin. or Arthur. or both together... Mmmmm.

And I was reminded of a Merlin/Mithian I read a while back and I figured it would be a good time to rec it.

Summary: Canon-era. When Mithian decides to stay on in Camelot after King Arthur's wedding she never exepects the string of events that come after, leading her to her love and her place in this web called 'Destiny'.

This is a charming romance that takes place right after Arthur and Gwen's wedding with Mithian staying on in the castle for a bit and tumbling into an unexpected romance. This fic does have a few Arthur/Gwen moments, as well as Merlin being servants to both A/G (though if that makes you uncomfortable, those bits are very short and skimable). Otherwise it's a sweet tale of Mithian slowly learning to appreciate Merlin and beyond that. But I don't want to give too much away. Very satisfying read.
