There was a time in Danny's life when he'd have sworn he had better things to do than sit in a club and check out the latest guy his ex is trying to hook up with. That is not the case tonight.

This was written for my prompt: Danny sees Stiles at a gay bar and asks him to dance to make his ex jealous, only things get a little out of hand when he realizes Stiles is really into it and is not so straight as Danny thought. It is a really delightful fic that is a bit of character study of both Stiles and Danny and the result is so much better than porn. <3

Summary: written for the prompt: Danny is an intelligent guy. No, really. He flatters himself that he's pretty observant, and really, you'd have to be blind not to see that something has been going on for the past year or so. Danny hasn't figured out what it is, exactly, because everyone's being cagey about it, but it's definitely there...

I really loved this look at Danny who was seeing way more than everyone thought he was. His concern for Stiles’ bruises was heartwarming. The result was a sweet, sweet fic.

No, but I must admit they do look similar and a certain way are certainly the same age. The actress' name is Honor Blackman and she played the role of Pussy Galore, whose photo you see here,in the James Bond movie 'Goldfinger". A bit before your time I guess.

Also seconding the Generation Kill rec. The series was amazing, mind-blowingly amazing and difficult for me to process. It's a very raw and relatively unbiased portrayal of a group of marines during the initial thrust of the Iraq invasion. It's based on the writings of an embedded Rolling Stone reporter who rode along in one of the lead humvees and it does an amazing job of depicting flawed, honourable, objectionable, heroic human beings in a war setting. Some parts made me extremely uncomfortable, but the series did such a good job of making every character multidimensional and human that it was impossible to dismiss them with a simple one-brush judgement.

This is not a series about the romance of war. Or a condemnation of war. It's a snapshot of a month at war and everything that entailed for these men.

Just. Wow.

And the writing in the fandom is consistently amazing and there needs to be more of it.
