The ctrl+i thing doesn't work for me. Are you using firefox? If I do it it pops up a bookmark search... idek. But I have LJ Add-on and I can highlight and do any formating.
BUT I NEVER USE IT. html just feels faster to type.
also i don't like the long form syntax it uses. I'm so anal.
