Damn, I've loved so many fics in the last couple weeks that I barely know where to start with reccing.

I'm going to try to do these in short frequent rec posts just to get caught up on my 'must rec' gdoc.

Contains: feminization, crossdressing, hints of breathplay
Summary: Colin didn't always like wearing dresses (he can pinpoint the exact moment it started, and how) but now it's as much a part of him as anything else. He didn't expect Bradley to get it, but then Bradley does.

This fic is so erotic but also a bit devastating at times. Colin has a humiliation kink which makes this a very uncomfortable read for me but Colin's POV is brilliantly done and the kink is explored in all kinds of complicated detail. And Bradley… well Bradley wrapped it all into a lovely happy bow that made all the achey emptiness better.

Perfect by Shinybug Arthur/Merlin [PG-13] (6k)
Summary: "I have never in my life," Arthur declares, grabbing the towel and pressing it roughly to Merlin's dripping wet face, "met anyone more ill-suited to the job of manservant than you."

A really fun and charming fic that brings back the joy of S1 when Merlin was just a simple screw up of a manservant who didn't know what he was doing and really didn't care how good of manservant he was. I love that Merlin can never turn down a challenge, and hearing just how 'perfect' Arthur's last servant was is a exactly what Merlin needs for motivation.

Dracocilde by m_frantic Arthur/Merlin [NC-17] (10k)
Summary: In which Merlin Emrys and Arthur Pendragon are suddenly confronted with the fact that not a single prophecy mentioned what might happened if a dragonlord and a dragon king ill-advisedly slept together.

Loved the way this fic handled a lot of tropes I love and a few that I don’t, but twisting them all up so that it wasn’t too saccharine for me to digest, and not so angsty that I wanted to click away -- both are often my personal issues with ‘fics with babies’ This was light and romantic, a nice blend of ‘epic magic’ and ‘modern day get-together’ stories. With an egg baby.

Arthur Thinks Words Are Pesky (And So Is Morgana) by ingberry Arthur/Merlin [NC-17] (8k)
Summary: A drunken kiss complicates the relationship between best friends Arthur and Merlin. The problem is that Arthur is suddenly not on the best of terms with words and he also has terrible ideas when drinking. He also thinks that Morgana is frankly just no help in sorting it all out (why does Arthur call her again?)

I love this poor Arthur who is hopeless when it comes to making the right decision regarding Merlin. Until he’s not. Great awkward boys fic, with lots of laughs and romance and hot kisses.

Ooh! Yay! That's a tough question!

I've been working through your main list and newest reccs, but I'd love a specific recc list if a couple of things pop into your mind and it's not too much trouble! \o/

Length: Longer is usually better as I really love loooooong epic stories but if it fits my other interests then I'll take any length.

Kinks: OMG just about anything. I love all kinds of kinky things. Though I'm not huge into spanking and that type of thing. The only thing that really squicks/triggers me like woah is infidelity.

Also, I've read more bottom!Arthur it seems and I think I'd like to read some more bottom!Merlin. Though truthfully I'm not too fussed as I do like both. So, by all means don't let that actually stop you from reccing me things that are bottom!Arthur. But y'know if you have a good bottom!Merlin to recc that might be fun XD if it crosses your mind.

I do usually gravitate towards NC-17 fics though so some kind of sexy times in it is definitely a plus!

Tropes: I seriously love cliches and romance and fluff and smut so I'm pretty easy to please... I'm just not sure what is popular in merlin fandom so forgive me if I ask for really odd things. A few that pop into my mind are: shared beds, pretend relationships, strait boys who aren't quite as strait as they think they are, rentboys/escorts and other sexstars things and magic-y things such as forced bonds, mindreading, soulmates, fuck or die, deaged, and mpreg (omg does that exist!?)

So far, I've been reading more modern AU things and I'm really really digging those right now. Like Merlin working for Arthur or college!AU etc... and I'm loving those types of things. Anything where they are thrown together and have to work together or live together etc...

I've never seen the show (which I plan to correct soon! /o\) so I'm not even sure where to begin looking at canon fics - but if there is a really long and classic canon-centric fic that is a lovely romance building between the boys with a happy ending and sexy times - I'd love to read that too.

Okay, sorry that's really long and more in depth than I intended. Really, anything that even vaguely resembles anything on that list would be lovely! Please don't work too hard bb! <3 Thank you for the offer! XD

um... list got out of control. but I think I caught most of what you are looking for and I think most have Merlin as bottom. (at least most of the canon do at least...) But I forgot to look for Merlin as bottom specifically. But there are!!! so ... you just let me know if after this you are still looking for that.

And no worries on bottom!Merlin - it's really fine, I'm not too fussed over it :D I think I was just surprised to see so much bottom!Arthur. Of course I knew nothing about the fandom before now but I would have expected more bottom!Merlin.

Then again, I've still only read such a small percentage of the fic that exists my observations may still be really off. Guess I'll just have to keep reading it all! ^_~
