One Word Prompts

I think it's a good day for another one word prompt fest. Due to cold medication I make no claims to any of the words I write making any sense but that's never stopped me before. and just feel like having a bit of fun and hope you'll join me!

So.

Comment with two characters and a one word prompt.

1) See a prompt you like? write it!!! word count is not an issue - this is a distraction/writing exercise. Just have fun. paragraphs and sentences are still awesome fills.

2) Drawbles are awesomesauce!

3) Multiple drabble-like comment porns are welcome. If a prompt's been written, it can be written again.

4) If you see a little fic/paragraph/comment thingy that you like, feel free to write a continuation of it.

"...embed themselves within our borders!" Arthur shouts to the gathered men, discussing the foreboding news of a foreign skirmish.

Merlin hears only bed.

Blood thunders in his temples, and he's mesmerised by the blooming rose flush over Arthur's fair skin. He's so passionate, so animated. Merlin just watches, lips parted, air thick in his lungs.

Backing slowly away, he removes himself from the great hall.

Bed, he thinks, sneaking into Arthur's empty chamber, quietly closing the door and leaning heavily against it. His shaking hand inches into the the placket of his trousers and he loses himself, groaning softly, staring at Arthur's unmade bed, and imagining himself within it, his face pressed against that hot, flushed skin.

Well. Let me fill you in on a little secret. This is the first time I've posted anything Merlin. I'm so new that my wrapper's still crackly. But, I like how you think! Maybe I could... *ponders*

Having fun with these prompts though! Filled three so far. I should probably stop now.

Ok, well, it isn't 10K, but I did write a little more. I felt terrible, leaving Merlin holding the bag like that ;) but as I don't know canon, I was not confident enough to actually turn this into a fic of considerable size.
