I think it's a good day for another one word prompt fest. Due to cold medication I make no claims to any of the words I write making any sense but that's never stopped me before. and just feel like having a bit of fun and hope you'll join me!

So.

1) See a prompt you like? write it!!! word count is not an issue - this is a distraction/writing exercise. Just have fun. paragraphs and sentences are still awesome fills.

3) Multiple drabble-like comment porns are welcome. If a prompt's been written, it can be written again.

4) If you see a little fic/paragraph/comment thingy that you like, feel free to write a continuation of it.

“Just a little more.”

“Full,” Arthur whinged, turning his head away. Merlin kept the spoon by Arthur’s lips. If this came down to a question of wills, Merlin was just as stubborn.

“One more, Arthur.” He bit back the please; begging never worked when Arthur was like this. “Gaius said you needed your strength.”

Arthur whipped his head back and Merlin jerked his hand back to avoid spilling the spoonful on Arthur’s cheek.

“My strength?” Arthur snapped, his eyes flashing, and Merlin immediately recoiled. Arthur lifted his bandaged hands, sneering. “And what do I need my strength for, Merlin?”

Merlin sighed, slowly dipping the spoon back into the soup and giving it a stir as if the answers could be found in the broth and chunks of carrot.

“Exactly.” Arthur stared out the open window. The sounds of the practice field drifted in on the breeze.

“You will heal, Arthur.” Merlin would make sure of it. “By the time the leaves begin to change, you will be out there, instilling terror in your knights once again.”

Arthur huffed, but met Merlin’s eyes like he wanted to see the hope that might be there.

“You will hold a sword again. I know you will. But you’ll never heal if you don’t eat.” He carefully filled the spoon, tapping it against the side of the bowl to shake off any drips.

When he offered the spoon this time, Arthur open without complaint.
