I frequently forget to defrost things. I would never cook a joint from frozen, but anything small, yes! Pork chops, chicken brests, ground beef. Often I'll give them a couple of minutes in the microwave to separate them.

Obviously, no good if you need to marinade or coat the meat, but fine for stir-fry, roast/broil.
