This fic is such an adorable fic for the kink that it represents. I don’t want to spoil you for it, because I think it’s charming how the author reveals what Harry and Draco are talking about in their letters. I think the summary of this fic might make people think it is somehow an AU... but it’s not. It’s a continuation of canon, post-DH, pre-Epilogue that has Draco trying to make his way in the post-war world with quite literary no luck at all. He is manipulated at every turn, and like we saw in HBP, Draco holds the welfare of his family very seriously but is also terribly inept at carrying out orders that go against his own morals. The result is an intense look at Draco’s character mixed with humour and sex and violence. It’s gritty but not so dark that it made me uncomfortable. Well worth the read for Draco’s journey alone, though Harry is spot-on, and delicious to boot.
