I'm trying to pick a layout for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
gsd_rtfn and I'm just such a flexible squares sort of girl. The gorgeous layout that I have in my personal lj is gorgeous only because it was custom made for me as a gift and I had no say in it. Which is good because clearly I have the most vanilla tastes in layouts ever.
I want something fun, but also easy to read and God, nothing PINK. Why are all the whimsical layouts PINK?
I was all set to load this one in Simple: White'n Blue I think it's lovely!!! but it also made me realise how ~clean~ I like my layout.
My second choice is arctic rash OMG! why so square and blue, maggie???
Any suggestions??? It's for a writing comm so I want it to be fun and welcoming and not too OTT. But not boring... idek.
My only stipulations is I need a layout with a nice side nav for easy access tags and links.
ETA: the two above where a bust! One didn't work with adds (which I need because it's a public comm) and the other had no nav bar!!!
I went with this:gsd_rtfn ... meh. not sure it's right. I want more focus on content and less on the background. *sigh*
