Introducing... gsd_rtfn [Get Shit Done - Right The Fuck Now... or maggie spent an hour trying to find a damn name]

Please don't pimp yet... I've got a few posts up, but it's all pretty tentative and I haven't figured all the stuff out!

Please take a look, let me know if you have any suggestions.

I'm thinking that it might work best if we do a bit of trial run week? Anyone interesting in hosting a GSD week this week or next? er... I'd be happy to co-host with someone (I have shit to get done!) but I don't think I could handle one on my own.

Let me know if you are interested and if you're handy with banners and such. :/

Hiya! Sounds great. One question ... does the week run Sunday to Saturday, with a final wrap-up post on the Sunday? GMT? EST? Some other region's time? The host's time zone? I vote for EST, since you live in that time zone. (Yeah, yeah ... I do too, but that's merely coincidence. *g*)

Another thing ... it suggests that the project must "get done" - would there not be room to have a goal (e.g. 5,000/10,000 words) versus completing the story? I ask because I'd like to use the format to complete chunks of my stories, which may or may not lead to completion.

I'll happily sign up for a week, but I can't do either this or next (this week is busy and next week eldest is home = no time for me), so I'm of no use for the test run.

I am equally useless as far as banners are concerned. *woes*

I think when it's run will up to the hosts, but I think I'll encourage a sat, sun or monday start. but if the comms not getting booked week after week, I don't think there's anything wrong with a wed-wed type of week. :)

And YES!!! 5k or 10k goals are perfectly fine. I'll note that in the rules.

I'll post the sign up for today in a bit. ;)
