Bradley is so delish in this, offering a pinning (for someone else) Colin to 'use' him to heal. sexy and ultimately romantic.

You gotta know that Bradley had some sort or reaction to Colin’s new ‘I’m a sexy model’ pictures from That magazine. I’m happy to pretend this one is what actually happened.

Summary: Filming of BBC's Merlin finished months ago, and Colin spends a lot of time not thinking about Bradley after a one night stand he had hoped to be so much more.

This is a lovely angsty piece. It’s wonderfully achy and realistic. A characterisation of Colin I don’t often see, but totally appreciated. If you are the type that needs to know the ending, feel free to PM me.

April 25, 2011 - Colin Morgan and the Crawl of Doom by spiny [NC-17] (~3k)
Summary: In the last five minutes, Colin Morgan has decided to become a priest.

I cannot read this summary without bursting out laughing. Actually, I laughed so hard reading this fic my throat hurt by the end of it. Drunk!Merlin’s brain is a thing of ultimate beauty. Ninja cat, FTW!

Feb 10, 2011 - Come Crashing In by zarah5 [NC-17] (7k)
Summary: The first scene they shoot together has Bradley trapping Colin’s arm behind his back, bending him over.

I read this fic without having read the warning and I was delightfully surprised. However, I don’t recommend that to everyone. ;) It has a lovely bit of psychology around D/s and bondage. I loved the build-up, the frustration that Colin felt as he tried to get away and satisfy this need inside of him. Very well portrayed. Delish kinky fic

Summary: Bradley and Colin have a car accident and Bradley needs to warm Colin up. They find an abandoned hut and spend the night there.

Hurt/comfort, shared body heat and you saved my life kisses. Wonderfully done.

Summary: Bradley: "Are you doing that, Colin?"
Colin: "Yeah."
Bradley: "Yeah, I thought it must've been. I like the way you're dedicating yourself to this role. He's actually physically learnt magic."

This is an absolutely brilliant mix of Merlin/Arthur, Colin/Bradley. Merlin watches while Nimueh plays out his history by creating the TV show Merlin. It's a totally fun mind-fuck between reality and fiction.

April 25, 2011 - It Seems I Can't Let Go by nu_breed [NC-17] (4.6k)
Summary: Colin is oh so very Catholic and not at all gay, thank you very much. He doesn't fall in love with blokes, he just really likes having sex with them is all. Denial is not just a river in Egypt, either.

This was fantastic. I was completely swept up in Colin’s tangle of guilt and desire. The raw fear of being young and in a small town and not as you should be. I loved the religious angle here, I think it played out well and realistically. And Colin’s denial of himself was brilliantly portrayed.

April 25, 2011 - It’s a Little Bit Funny (This Feeling Inside) by accordingtomel [NC-17] (48k)
Summary: When an editing error accidentally makes it on the air, Bradley is forced to take a step back and re-evaluate his relationship with his co-star.

Lovely coming to terms with being attracted to your best mate type of story. Lots of angst, missed chances, jealousy and man!feelings. I love that despite the tension in the fic, Bradley and Colin friendship was never really threatened (cause that always makes me too sad). A great love story.

Feb 10, 2011 - Karaoke, Sport of Kings by lamardeuse [NC-17] (16.5k)
Summary: Bradley takes a little while to get it. As usual.

I totally fell in love with this fic. It’s a lovely look at Bradley no longer knowing quite what his place is in Colin’s life and fumbling his way through discovering his feelings. Angsty and tender and I love living these moments with Bradley/Colin that didn’t really happen, but just the fact that they could have and it’s totally believable that I find it happy making.

Summary: Colin comes back to the flat in the evening to find the fridge door covered in magnetic words. Bradley makes a grand ta-daa gesture towards them. "Fridge poetry! We can be creative! And leave cryptic messages for each other!"

This is my favourite kind of fluff: sweet, sexy, funny. I adore the dynamic that the author gave these boys. Bradley being all too much ‘in your face’ with Colin and Colin quiet and needing space sometimes. It created great tension between them. And I love that they used the Magnetic Poetry to connect – the results were genius and adorable and hilarious. This is a happy, heartwarming, romantic fic.

April 25, 2011 - One Star Fell And Another by i_claudia [NC-17] (7k)
Summary: kmm prompt: The reason Colin is so defensive about slashing Arthur and Merlin is that he secretly reads and/or writes A/M slash and is terrified of anyone finding out. Bonus points if the discovery of Colin reading/writing stash leads to some Bradley/Colin action.

Colin’s a kinky little bugger (like us) that likes to read dirty M/A fanfic (like us) and then gets an inspiration for his own story (like us) and WE ALL KNOW WHAT A SLIPPERY SLOPE THAT IS RIGHT? While this could have been total crack, the author didn’t go that direction. It’s a well written, solid fic with a delicious premise and nnngh so hot.

this was written after I made really dirty comments about how maybe it's not gel making Bradley hair all sticky-upy... lallala... the result was rather subtle on that point and yet my brain supplied all it needed about why Bradley is smirking. GO READ Hot like burning comment porn.

April 25, 2011 - Prime Numbers by nympha_alba [PG-13] (3.5k)
Summary: Up there on stage, Colin is a stranger, and Bradley can't make himself leave. Not until Colin is familiar again.

To me, B/C is a hard sell at the moment – but this does an amazing job of making it feel real. The author references Colin’s role in OPL and lets us see that through Bradley’s eyes. It’s something very realistic without meta. (not sure if that makes any sense) It was romantic but subtle and I love that. I love that they are still quirky, awkward boys but underneath the lack of spoken words their genuine emotion shines through.

April 25, 2011 - REBEL REBEL (YOU'VE TORN YOUR DRESS) by nympha_alba [Nc-17] (6k)
Summary: The knowledge that Colin is in London makes Bradley jittery and unfocused, and he's never unfocused so he doesn't know what this is all about.

I loved Stanislavsky Never Said Anything About Frocks and this sequel is just brilliant. It was written a few months ago, but with all the reports about Colin’s amazing stage presence in OPL it feels so appropriate for the last few weeks. An excellent Bradley/Colin angst with an absolutely perfect ending.

Summary: HA HA HA you expect so much of me. BUT OK. Behold my RPF, in which Bradley thinks people should call him to hang out and do stuff.

Oh, Bradley. This is fic is just All. About. Bradley. and how epically cute he is in his shy, awkwardness underneath it all and I wanted to just HUG HIM from beginning to end. Funny and sweet and pulls at the heartstrings.

Summary: Slight AU, complete crack. While still at drama school, Colin comes to London for an important audition and gets more than he bargained for.

Fun party/just met fic with Straight!Colin and Crossdressing!Arthur. just… yeah. *tucks this into my head as real*

Summary: Colin's always been Colin, and Bradley's never not been wrapped up in him in every single way.

This is the so… real. It ripped my heart out and stomped on it and yet… God, so realistic, I can’t help but be humbled by it. *sobs*

Feb 10, 2011 - Teaching the Indie Kids to Joust Again by Aja (8,4k)
Summary: ~ If the Mountain will not go to the sea then the river must bring them together.~

This fic is the frienship, arguments and misunderstandings of Bradley and Colin interspersed with scripts and (made-up) scene’s from the show and all the ‘moments’ that Merlin/Arthur are supposed to be having on screen, while Bradley and Colin are struggling to figure out their own relationship. An excellent read.

Feb 10, 2011 - The Colour of Cartoon Sunshine by junkshop_disco [NC-17] (35k)
Summary: As filming for the second series draws to a close, Colin thinks his biggest problem is evading one of Bradley’s goodbye hugs. It isn’t. It’s that he’s about to do something that’s fourteen different kinds of stupid: fall in love.

A wonderful read, I could live in this fic forever with these wonderful boys with their sillyness and their faults. *squishes them*

Feb 10, 2011 - Think Less And See It Grow by hulubululu [PG-13] (32k)

This is a an AU!RPF which I find a little weird because it sort of takes people that I don’t really know (other than admiring their pretty) and puts them in a situation I don’t know at all and so it’s hard for me not to see it as an original fic. BUT! I did really enjoy this fic. Very entertaining read.

Summary: Bradley's been spending a lot of time with the guys and Colin's feeling lonely. Also? Somehow Bradley gets a hold of a thesaurus and has a burning need to get Eoin and Katie to make babies together.

A wonderfully romantic established relationship B/C that wasn’t too angsty or saccharine sweet. I love how it slots into ‘last week’ and basically it instantly became my headcanon. So much love.
