Summary: Modern AU. Arthur moves to a different city to start a new life and become a new man. On a whim he decides to share a flat with an attractive stranger, and quickly gets drawn into Merlin's odd little world

Do read the warnings on this fic, they are spoilery, I guess, but important in deciding if this fic is for you. In the hand of a lesser author (though I have no idea who the author is at this point, but I know they are talented) this could have been a train wreck. Or at least the type of fic to really squick me. Instead the author took Arthur (and us) on an amazing ride of one week in Merlin’s life where he (and we) are shown Merlin's world of freaks and crazies and best of all acceptance. Everyone is a little broken and all in their own way and together they live and love and look after each other. Brilliantly written and a wonderful emotional journey of finding your place in life when you need it most.

I won't, I won't! I've had your canon and AU rec list in my browser bookmarks for MONTHS, and have read most of the fics on there. REC TO ME FOREVER. :D I read the warnings and drug/alcohol use are the only things that really bother me in fics and it says mild so it should be alright. Bookmarking both of these for later (because I've left all of my weekend's school readings for NOW x_x)!
