“You're not the only one wanting here, you know,” Malfoy snapped, reading his intentions.

Harry's eyes flickered momentarily to Malfoy's erection, swollen and dark between his bent knees. “And I give a shit, why?”

Malfoy narrowed his eyes but didn't move.

Ron stood up and looked up at Harry. “I've got a better idea,” he said, and Malfoy's head snapped back to his direction, looking apprehensive. “Get up.”

The scar was beautiful. It was thicker where Potter’s curse had slashed through the more muscular flesh of Draco’s breast, and thinner where it had entered beneath his collarbone and left his body right above the short ribs on his right side. Pansy could only imagine the force of the attack, and suppressed a shiver. The scar stood for the power of the attacker, and in return, for how dangerous he’d deemed his victim.

She wanted to lick it.

Harry watched Draco pour himself a drink and hoped it was his first of the day. This conversation would be best conducted while sober. Though he considered maybe he was mistaken on that when Draco filled a second tumbler. The glass felt sturdy in his palm as Draco handed it over, the smell of the whiskey making his mouth water. It was only half ten in the morning so his first sip was small.

“Have a seat, Potter.” Draco waved his hand at one of the plush leather chairs by the hearth then sat in the opposite one. “What exactly is all this about?”

Harry took another sip, letting the burn of his throat distract him momentarily. Draco was only in town another week, then back to his travels abroad. It was a small window of opportunity to handle this face to face. He opened his mouth to begin when a throat cleared behind him.

“Scorpius.” Draco let the name draw out to a low hiss. “I am meeting with the Head Auror. Surely, whatever it is can wait.”

But Scorpius wasn’t looking at his father. His eyes were on Harry, wide and pleading. “I want to be here.”

Harry took a deep breath. They’d talked it over (and over and over) the night before. He should have known Scorpius’s final if you think it’s best had been more mocking than agreeing. Now there was nothing for it. Draco was looking between the two of them his narrowed eyes and Scorpius chin was set, daring Harry to argue now.

Harry set down his drink and stood. “Of course,” he said, smile stiff on his face. Placing a hand on Scorpius’s lower back, he whispered, “You’re incorrigible.”

She lifted her head and stared at him through glassy eyes. “One.” She hiccupped. “And a half.” She added swaying slightly. She leaned on the bar for support. “I don’t drink.” She announced.

“Ah. That’d be the problem.”

He felt a slight buzz but Hermione looked ready to topple over.

So, last night I spent two hours editing! My original fiction, and didn't work a scrap on the fan fiction I'd vowed to complete this week. I really do suck. But tonight! Tonight my friends I might be productive. (I actually had my original fic chapter due to the critique group last night, so that's why the switch in priorities).

But, I did finish editing an entire chapter of that story.

Don't you hate all this excitement about Valentine's Day?

Draco crumpled the note into a little ball and dropped it onto his plate of half-eaten eggs. It had to be a joke; the bird that had delivered it left no doubt in Draco's mind. Northern Hawk Owls weren't rare, but this one was a beautiful specimen: slender, with a long tail, perfect colouring – including thin, elegant black lines framing its face – and a haughty demeanor to boot. It had landed on the table in front of Draco and refused to leave until he'd fed it a scrap of bacon. 

Not many people could afford such a striking owl, which meant that whoever it belonged to was relatively well-off.  And such people, Draco knew, weren't interested in former Death Eaters. The name Malfoy had little to bring to any relationship. Which in turn meant that the person who had sent the owl was poking fun at Draco's single-and-unwanted status. How considerate.

"Sure," Dean replies, shucking off his coat and trying to get his soaked jeans undone, but it's too much work to his drunk fingers. Instead, he reaches over to the couch and grabs the blanket, curling it around his shoulders.

"What kind?" Sam opens the cabinets, shifting through the contents.

"What did Lisa give us?"

"Hm. Blueberry, Raspberry, Ginseng, Chai, African Red Bush, Mint Magic, Green Tea, Green Tea With Lemon, Green Tea With Lemon and Honey, Liver Disaster, Ginger with Honey." Sam takes a breath. "Ginger without Honey, Vanilla Almond, White Truffle Coconut, Chamomile, Blueberry Chamomile, Decaf Vanilla Walnut, Sleepytime Decaf Lemon Jasmine Green, Constant Comment, aaand...Earl Grey."

Dean's squints suspiciously. "Did you make some of those up?"

"Sleepytime it is," Sam says and throws a pot of hard water on the burner.

I love my Potions class best. Professor Malfoy tries to make the lessons more fun for us. I’m not too good with reading the directions and getting the right results, but Professor Malfoy helped me by writing what the potion should look like on the board. He called me an in-tu-i-tive learner, what ever that means. I think I’ll ask dad! Anyway, he said Professor Snape, the guy I’m named after, was also one! How cool is that! I have two things in common with him besides my name!

I didn't plan on really finishing this... but then I fell in love with Merlin's rosy cheekbones and Arthur's stupidly superior!smug look, and now I'm doomed. DOOOOOMED.

Used a screencap for reference, too, to try and make them look more like themselves. The last pic I did from memory, and I think I got Merlin's nose wrong. I still think his nose is wrong, actually. OHWELL.

She can see that she's completely lost him now so she just pats his hand and says, "Never mind. Tell me about him?"

Arthur frowns just a little, looking at her suspiciously. "Tell you what?"

Narcissa reclaimed her tea and took a sip, pursing her lips as she set it down again. Her smile was tight, too serene. Draco held his breath.

“Why is it that Harry never joins us?”

Draco had to fight not to lurch in his seat, and he was sure he failed miserably when Narcissa’s smile grew just a touch wider.

He took a large gulp of tea, feeling a petty sort of satisfaction at Narcissa’s slightly narrowed eyes. He would’ve comfortably bet half his vault he was in for another plea to visit his father. This, he had not been expecting.
