GAH!!! I just had the most insane weekend. But, hd_holidays fic is DONE! and sent off the to mods! SQUEE!!! *bounce**bounce**bounce* I'm looking forward to this fest soooo much!

And you know what? I don't have another fest fic due until mid-Feb (hd_remix) and I have three short charity fics to play with early next year or as the inspiration strike between now and then. BUT!!! I am free of writing commitments for the moment. I think I'll take the next 2 weeks and just coast along - reply to comments, maybe re-read all my remix giftee's fics to gets those plot bunnies going.

But I'm also free to maybe write something of actual plot (or plot-shaped, at least) in Merlin. Part of me wants to wait until the season finishes so that I don't get Jossed. I think I'll just say 'I'm not writing anything until the season is done' because that pretty much guarantees lightning is going to strike.

I am so far (in my paltry three fics) just ignoring anything that happens AFTER where I set my fics. AND NOW THE TIMELINE JUMPS INTO MY WORLD.

I'm pretty sure nothing can destroy me more than the last HP book did as far as being Jossed in the FACE.

my hd hols fic makes me want to hit my head against the wall. Multiple times.

You see, the beginning, which I think is the best written, will have to totally be cut away. I takes too long to get to the action. I have problems with this.
