Hello, dolls.
Am having a shitty morning and looking for bit of eljay distraction. I did this ages ago, but let's try it again.
Ask me anything and I will answer.
standard disclaimer on how there are some things I will not answer but I'll give most reasonable questions a go
(I've just got a standard friends filter on this, btw)

Does it bother you that I've added question marks to phrases that are not technically questions?
You write plenty of different pairings, but which do you like best - enemy slash, a la H/D, or friends-turned-lovers, a la A/M?

favourite food? French fries. nnnnngh. cannot live without french fries.
No, it does not? :D
oh! enemy slash, a la H/D, or friends-turned-lovers, a la A/M?
WOW. What a great question. I've never thought about how different they are in that sense before, because, yes they are completely different genres aren't they? I like the enemy slash of H/D. That is just made of win and never gets old. With A/M, it's not that I like it because of the 'friends-turned-lovers' so much as the dynamic between them. The dorky teasing, the power imbalance, the secrets and of course the EPICNESS of their love.
It think HD gives a lot more play, in some ways. But I love that A/M is undeniable and so... um, can I use epic again? because there is not enough fonts out there to express how EPIC I think there relationship is (whether that's just friendship/partnership or ill fated lovers or ride into the sunset HEA)
lol. did I answer you question? :D
edited to fix epic typos

It's funny you mention the epicness, because that's part of why I find it hard to get into Arthur and Merlin as a slash pairing (aside from their very sixth-formers-having-a-laugh dynamic in series 2). I've always loved the Arthurian myth, especially T H White's quartet. Merlin/Arthur's an epic relationship, but so is Arthur/Guinevere... and it turns out my love of The Sword In The Stone is far more hard-wired than I'd assumed. :)
