When I was prepping for my hols fic, I totally stalked froggie to figure out the tone of the fic and just how dark I could go with it. I've waited until after reveals to rec a few of my favs. :D

The last one there resulted in me having a Wicked Gentlemen dream last night... except, no steampunk... but corporate intrigue with the prejudices of prodigals and humans and all the political impacts. It was quite... detailed. I can barely remember it now, but it was fascinating. and completely nonsensical, I'm sure. :P

OMG I LOVED THAT BOOK!! THERE WAS SO MUCH NO GOOD REASON DRAMAZ! And everything was so about FATE! and how they just had to be miserable because it was their destiny, and they could fall in love with the RIGHT people, but that would just be too easy. And the ones who weren't completely nuts, they just couldn't control the crazy fools and they were just so philosophical about all the shenanigans, like "Yes, he'll surely kill himself, that's just his way." They always used violence the wrong way, too, because why murder? Just hit somebody upside the head, yr not in an opera. Right? Tsk. Anyway. Cool reading.

Hope you like WG, then we can have another artist drawing beautiful Belmai for us. <3
