Ok, it's been a long time. and frankly the season finale left me so meh that I really hadn't thought about it in months and months and now its back and

Where did my little corny show with the adorably lame plots go? Shit, Part I was seriously awesome. I'm honestly shocked. I really don't remember it being that good.

haha! I love quirky shows. Just a little off-beat, a little corny, quite unpredictable and yet not stupid ya noe? That's my attempt at explaining why I like TW.

well that and the pretty boys kissing.

I have tried to read HoD soooo many times. It's so SHORT. It should be easy! But I've never made it past the first chapter. :/

It is an awesome British show about an underground branch of the government (watch someone correct me on this) that investigates alien activity. It's exciting and tautly written but what I really love about it is that every member of Torchwood appears to be actively bisexual - M/M kissing and relationships abound. The characters are also unusually complex and multifaceted for an action show: no one is 100% good or evil. I definitely recommend it.

And Marguerite, glad you're enjoying season 3 - I'm already bemoaning that it's only 5 episodes and we're more than halfway through!

I KNOW! I just saw all three episodes. They're so Doctorwhoish. It definitely wasn't this good before. Someone might shoot me for it, but I must say, I'm not missing Tosh and Owen AT ALL. I'm probably the only person who found those two utterly boring and depressive. Also, MORE IANTO! YAY!

And Doctorwhoish Yes. yes. yes. That is it exactly. TW was always very different in feel than DW. This arc has that 'greater good' 'go beyond yourself and become a hero' with villains that are not pure evil but misguided and selfish and choosing the wrong path and staying on it no matter the horrible acts that you are forced to commit. yes. very doctorwhoish.

I was never a fan of Tosh or Owen. Ianto. OMG!!! After season 2, I was in love with Ianto and now... shit... when he came out to his sister... that was just so well done. YAY!

YES! I love that dude (whose name escapes me. The middleman, we'll call him). I mean, I love him as a character. He's so HUMAN.

The middleman is sooooo everyman, if you get my meaning. Fabulous actor. Everything from the imperfect teeth to the watery eyes. He really raises these eps to a whole other level of fallibility/conflict/selfishness/ambition/loyalty.

Oh! man I so want to see part 4 and 5 NOW NOW NOW.

And yet, I don't want it to over! *whimpers*
