Today is the birthday of one of my absolute favourite people! Happy Birthday stellamoon!
I hope your day is fabulous. It has been an honour to get to know you these past few months.

And guess whose art just went up at hd_worldcup? I've been biting my nails every morning checking the WC posting to see if Stella's was posting. Woot! It's today. FINALLY.

Secret Heritage

I think it was incredibly hard for any of the authors and artists to take those prompts and the constraints of the team they represent and create something truly inspired. Stella did a fabulous job with all three components. I am so in love with the wrist grab panel. And the butt crack! And their sweet smiles at the end just make my broody and sarcastic nature melt into a pool of happy giggles.

Unfortunately it's in the Flash Player format that most of the WC art has been shown in. I'm not a fan of it. The navigation is awkward, and it keeps labeling the first scene as the panel 2! Grr! Still… it's up! Yay!

And thanks for reccing the art. I'm afraid people will be disappointed by how short it is after so many of the artists have posted work thats 83478927492 pages long!!

Are we sure today is the last day? I lost track. But one of my co-captains posted that there were 3 more entries (did she mean for my team, or overall??) to go. She said one art(me) and 2 fic. And today's prompt were all 3 art entries. So, I'm confused.

Yeah, the art is a little small, but I'll post it up a bit bigger on my LJ in a few days when this is all over. (and i hate that format and navigation, too!!)

Yes, the current trend of art does seem to be multi-panelled story-telling. I've been really surprised at how that translated to so many panels.

While I've loved those entries, I don't think your style lends itself to dozens of panels. Four panels may seem 'short' but I hope the incredible detail you put into your art isn't lost by sharing a format (flash) that lends itself to view 20+ of panels.

I cannot wait for you to be allowed to repost!

Hmmm... I was sure today was the last day. I read a mod comment on the last week-in-review and she said three posting days left: Tues, Thursday and Saturday.

You are right. It's not ending today. My brain is fried!

The comment was the weeks posting schedule, which was Tues/Thur/Sat/Sun.
