1. I'm a little better. I think by tomorrow I will have kicked this cold for sure. I called in the MIL to help out; I was desperate. She'll arriving tomorrow and staying for the week (which is also March Break here). I cannot wait to have the help. Cooking and cleaning and looking after the kids while sick has been killing me.

2. I'm kinda in love with my hp_sas fic. It's 90% done first draft. It's due in like 4 months. o.O I can only imagine how much editing I am going to do given in that time.

3. Did I mention yet that I signed up for nextgendarkfest? I'm the sign up with the 'not too dark please' request. :D Sign ups close on Sunday. Go Sign Up!

4. Most importantly hp10k_showcase starts posting this week!!!!!! March 18th the first fic goes up and then one a day after that. OMG! I cannot tell you how excited I am. It's pretty amazing how much you can pack into 10,000 words when you really want to. And the art!!! Woot! Is it Wednesday yet????????????

5. Dollhouse
I really loved both last nights and the previous week's. Thank you Joss for have less hire a whore stuff. My only complaint is how many friggin' times does Echo have to be smacked across the face by a guy? A lot apparently. We get it, she's not treated well. Anyway, still… I loved seeing Cyera (sp?) get the same implant as Echo in the ep 4. That was pretty neat. And the 'man-reaction', ok, cheesy… yet still funny. And pretty hot, imho. The whole 'they aren't supposed to notice each other naked and showering together and yet. Plus can I have a job where I must look at hours and hours of gorgeous people showering and waiting for wood? LMAO.
So, yeah. I have hope. I think I'll be able to make it through the season without much struggle.
Oh? And anyone else want and Alpha/Echo fucked up romance to come out of this? Only me then? Do we know which actor plays Alpha yet? Because I hope he's a babe. That also makes up for the mass murdering stuff.


6. The Administration Series. Yup. I'm reading. romaine24 recced it to me in a way that was impossible for me to resist. She knows my buttons, damn her. :D It actually took me a bit to get into. I lagged a bit during Mind Fuck chapter 7ish through 13ish, I think. Now I'm all the way up to Mirror, Mirror and quite liking it. I think Pancakes was my favourite piece so far. I'm now printing the next 120 pages to get me through the MIL's visit.

I loved seeing Cyera (sp?)

I think its Sierra, since they all seemed to be named for letters in the Nato phonetic alphabet. Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, etc. Just another way of making them unimportant, they don't even get real names.

I was thinking that Echo came from that, I just didn't realise that Sierra was in that alphabet. Do you know the guy's name? The one with the man reaction? My memory is like a sieve.

Awww! I adore Wash! I find funny as sexy though. I doubt very much he'll play this goofy/funny. Well...maybe they mix. It is Joss. He did write The Mayor. So you never know.

Yeah, I never kinked him. Or Angel, for that matter. *shrug* Spike was hot. There was always nuance to him. His evil never played sexy, but against his sexy. Hard to explain. Oh! I did a crush on Giles when he went all badass in season 5, but that's as close as I get.

Glad to hear you are starting to feel better and that your MIL is coming to help out (it's great that she can and will do that).
My sas muse wants two different stories and wants to write both NOW even though she needs to wait until other fests are written.
I definitely think dollhouse is improved,i'm still not 100% on board but i'll see it through.
And YAY for the administration series. that is good reading when you aren't feeling well.
