In case you were wondering - and I'm sure you were - reading One Truth three times yesterday and discussing it in great detail (including possiblities for prequels, sequels, and parallel fics with differing POVs) for hours on end, results in a really SHITTY night's sleep.

I don't remember my dreams - thank goodness - but they were rather unpleasant and I was forced to keep waking myself up to shake off the feeling of wrongness.

Not that I regret a moment of it.

The fic is perfect as is, but there are so many little things... like Draco's POV, his sanity, is he choosing to allow this to continue or is he completely helpless.

also how crazy does Scorpius go when it all falls apart? I'm thinking pretty damn crazy (crazier).

what REALLY happened when Scorpius openly approached Harry and he was (rather forceably) turned down.

i the sign of draco's lack of sanity in general is the part where scorpius says that after astoria was murdered, draco was useless. maybe draco didn't go insane with astoria's death, but he definitely became pliable. a manipulative-not so sane son living with his grieving father...i could easily see how scorpius could perform imperio on draco. *shivers*

lol! I loved that fic. It took me a little while to untangle who exactly was aware of what - I'm still not 100% sure on Draco's role, if he was taking the polyjuice willingly or not. But fuck me, do I love how desperate and complete without morals Scorp is about getting what he wants. That's how I love my cross-gen - dirty and fucked up! *g*

I'm pretty sure that Draco is under imperius. Romaine suggested he was full-time imperiod like Barty Crouch. I agree.

That would explain the 'unforgivables' reveal at the end. And the 'blank stare' (shivers) as 'Harry' fucked him. And since it's been going on for 6 months I don't think it's an on and off imperio. unless -again from romaine!- he keeps Draco locked up during the day. (shivers again)

There is just sooo much to think about with this fic. Each time I read it I catch something new and worship the author a hundred times over.

Oh yes! That makes sense! I thought maybe Scorp was imperioing Harry now and again when he thought he could get away with it and then using Draco the rest of the time and Draco was maybe willing because of the bit about "the strangely familiar taste of Harry." For some reason, I thought that when "Harry" was rough, it was Draco NOT under imperius, but playing along. But Romaine's version makes much more sense - of course "harry" knows exactly what Scorp needs, Scorp's telling him what to do! Ooo, and now it's even creepier! *shivers delightfully*

Okay, I'm going to have to read it a third time now that it's all clear!

Although, this did make me wonder... Lily's only a year younger than Al and Scorp, right? So, if he's already and Auror, wouldn't she already be out of school? Even the fast track Auror program has to be at least a year, doesn't it? I mean, the normal program is three years. *ponders*

I've always guessed Lily a year younger, but I'm not sure if in the Epilogue she is told 'It'll be your turn next year' or 'your turn soon'... or something similar.

Two years younger might be enough to make it still work. He could have started this whole thing while still in training.

YES!!!! It is totally cheering me up. I don't know how I'm going to wait until sunday to rec this one. I keep reading these fics and saying, 'yes! this is the best scorpius ever!!' and then I read the next one. *g*

I feel all special now since that author wrote this story for me. It wasn't fluffy and it was dark, but not so much that one is on the verge of headdesking.

Plus, I read the newest Scorpius fic. I LOVE top!Scorpius with bottom!Al. And just wow. The newest fic was great. =)

I think it was the whole 'what would Scorpius do after Lily graduates?' speculation. I kept coming up with more and more horrible scenarios of how Scorpius could get revenge on Harry for 'lying' as I was laying in bed.

I just reread the fic in question, and I've read a great number of the comments, and I'm still just as confused as I was last night, when I first read it.

I guess part of the beauty of this fic, is that it is so open to various possiblities. I'm going with my original thought, which has to do with the warnings.
