S/X was my first introduction to slash, actually. When I first started in fandom, I read Spike/Buffy. I know. Het. *snork* But I was at a website called allaboutspike.com, which features Spike/EVERYONE, and I saw Spike/Xander and thought, WTF? How would they EVER have sex??? So I clicked the link, scrolled through some stories, and read one (that's still one of my faves to this day) called Seeing Distant Things as if They Were Close by Wesleysgirl, and it was like a choir of angels. And I thought, well OF COURSE. It's all so clear to me now! Lol...
And it's just gone from there. :D
