(no subject)

Hallo!!! Am back from my 'break' a day early. It was all terribly productive and refreshing. Felt like one of those vacations where you empty your inbox on the beach. (yes, a little The Politician's Wife reference in there - reread it again last night. ♥)

Stuff I did:
- finished first draft of Merlin/Arthur fic - need to type that in tomorrow.
- outlined my SL-fest porn
- got caught up (and fell behind again) on hds_beltane
- beta'd a few fantastic fics
- replied to comments (still not even close to caught up)
- finished Draco/Al crack broom recs (will post summary soon)
- finished c&p for h/d bookshelf. the lovely vaysh is creating the poll this very moment
- wrote up new Merlin rec post (still formatting - will be up soon)

And of course, I spent a ridiculous number of hours in my backyard in a baby pool, walking to the park, going to the zoo, teaching the kids how to ride their bikes... you know... vacation stuff.

Also today is Quit Facebook Day

How to permanently delete your facebook account. (The key apparently is to STAY OUT. So you need to stay out of facebook for 2 full weeks after you delete it, or your delete will be cancelled. Sneaky eh?

ETA: OMG! LJ!!! NOT COOL!!!! You know how if you see an lj user ID, and there is that little 'person' beside it? and if you hover over that 'person' a rollover box pops up? Well one of those options is to 'remove friend' and if you finger slips and clicks that option, IT DEFRIENDS THE PERSON - no 'are you sure?' just oops... defriended and you didn't even realise that you did it!!! Add that to having a temperamental touch pad instead of a mouse and OMG!!! accidental defriending == UNCOOL! Look, try it, see how ridiculously easy it is! Defriend me: marguerite_26. but you know... friend me back, kay? Sorry Huey. :(

Oof! we had a couple minor *cough* issues there and had to pull the first version of the poll. but yay! vaysh is brill and fixed it all. However, I never want to see a tickey box again... *headdesk*

But GO TICKY THOSE LITTLE BOXES!!! the more people that fill out this thing the better averaging we will get in our results. So even 'casual' HD fans - go tick!

As an aside: we had wanted the results of the poll to not appear, but that can't be done on lj polls apparently. :(
