This fic!!! Oh, shit. This was perfect. I adore the ‘Neckz 'n Throats’ mag idea and scenes with Derek and Stiles having to do a photoshoot together hits all the right buttons, but this fic delivered above and beyond in on every aspect of that trope. It’s hilarious and hot and just angsty enough and even more hot. It’s perfectly balanced and leaves the reader very satisfied all under 10k. If you haven’t yet, go read.

There are not NEARLY enough fics focusing on Stiles and Allison in this fandom. And this one is glorious. Oh. My. God. The premise (Stiles and Allison, pissed off with their boyfriends, have a drunken one night stand) is such a great idea for a fic and deserved a well thought-out, exploration of the reaction to and consequences of that mistake. The author gives us that in spades. I love the whole mess of a situation and all its complexities. Every one of the characterizations in this (from the main four to all the peripherals) are brilliantly and believably done. Excellent storytelling.

Ridiculous hilariousness. Hilarious ridiculousness. Also sperm-inspired plots are always the right choice.

Summary: The tattoo is vein-like and strange, but it’s so very…right. It’s not necessarily a picture, but free-flowing lines that wind around his arm and dip and dance around his scars. It makes him feel free, makes him feel powerful.
He goes in for his second tattoo when he’s about to leave for school in Southern California.
It's not so much of a second one as a continuation. He decides that, though the pattern isn't of branches it acts like them, so he branches it down over his shoulder and down to the center of his back, kind of like draping a toga. At the center of his back the lines concentrate and sort of circle. He adds a splash of jade-shaded almond shapes and feels stronger somewhere deep inside.

Tattoo kink like fucking CRAZY. but also it's a lovely story of Stiles going out and finding himseld 'taking a glorious bite of the world' before returning home.

Nice, plotty-ish AU. I think the setting of NASCRA pit crew was fresh and interesting. Liked that Stiles was a mechanic and Derek the driver. Great canon parallels as well.

Author’s notes also have a quick tutorial to help you along. This is a lovely read. I’m glad I didn’t skip it because of the fusion.

This definitely has a feel of Stiles + OC Hales twins but that is perfectly okay by me. It incredibly hot.

OLD WEST WEREWOLF FIC! WOOT! I absolutely loved the universe the author created here. It was dirty, raw and violent, as a good western should be. It was also a great adventure that encompassed elements of canon (Peter seeking revenge on the Hales) while also being fresh and unexpected. I loved the characterization of the four key characters: Stiles, Derek, Allison and Scott. They all played a key part to this story and stayed true to what we know of them from canon. Fantastic read.

Which I imagine it true for canon!Danny. It was great to see him finally seeing Stiles in a new light, but more than that, I loved the plot here. The way that Danny had to figure his way around all this werewolf stuff and the stupid politics of this group of teenagers that were all involved deeply in this crazy stuff but no one was talking to each other or helping each other. Great characterization all around.

This is a feel-good, non-werewolf au. It’s exactly what’s on the tin, jock/nerd get together fic. I read it under a blanket, with a cup of tea on a cold day. Lovely.

Sometime around mid summer, during the intervening weeks of baseball camp and recovering from baseball camp and the latest Minecraft update, Jinx hops up the plastic step stool to their bed and says, “Derek’s daemon won’t talk to me.”

This is a ‘His Dark Materials’ crossover. I’ve never read the books, but I’ve liked quite a few crossovers with that fandom. Despite the summary's confusing reference to baseball camp... this fic is actually canon-compliant (mostly, I think?) through S2, except that it includes the concept of daemon’s. If you want to know more about daemon’s, the author has handy notes, however, it’s not really necessary. Once you get past 'the everyone has this creature hanging around them' bit, this fic is essentially Teen wolf-esque ‘monster of the week’ fic. great read.
