Just read A study in Natural Philosophy, it was great. Was wondering of you've read His Dark Materials? It's where the idea of daemons (or at least this particular brand of them) comes from. It's just, you can't really tell from your rec if you have or not, and they are absolutely awesome books and everyone should read them. My heart flutters just thinking about them. They feature gay angels and armored polar bears and an awesome female protagonist. (Uh the first was also recently made into a major motion picture, which you can kinda just ignore. I mean, it was ok, but it had nothing on the books.)
btw, I feel I should take the time to let you know how awesome you and your recs are. I am such a lurker- seriously, /major lurker/- and have only recently began using these commenty box things, so have probably never told you before how much I appreciate your recs. *nods sincerely to convey sincerity*. Seriously, I think I can pretty much blame you for getting me into Merlin fandom, all those years (god, has it really been years?) ago. So yeah. Incoherent babbling over.
