Comfort food recipe

When I'm looking for a quick and easy side dish or if I'm craving simple food because I'm not feeling well I turn to this ridiculously basic recipe.
Bring large pot of salted water to boil
Add Spaghetti or Spaghettini
Cook as desired
Strain.
In the same pot you used to cook the pasta:
Add extra-virgin olive oil and heat on med.
Add one thinly sliced garlic clove to the oil
Cook until light brown (this happens fast, don't let it burn)
Then add the pasta back into the pot and toss into the oil/garlic.
Serve with fresh Parmesan cheese.
If you like things spicy, add pepper flakes to the oil immediately before adding the pasta.
Today, I called it lunch. :)
