Artist's Notes/Summary:marguerite_26 listed "tattoos" as one of her kinks, and I thought, hey, magical tattoos and tattoos to identify magic users and ho yay magic reveal! fic--art--thing, and, well. This is the story of how Merlin, upon reaching the age of sixteen, had been branded as a magical being of the most dangerous kind; and how his best friend Arthur, despite finding out about Merlin's magic through this event only for the first time, defies all of Merlin's expectations of hurt and betrayal and takes him by surprise.
The concept of this… nnnngh… I adore it. I love AUs with Merlin being 'marked' and 'shunned' separated from society and representing that with a tattoo is so awesome. The panels are lovely and heartwarming and I'm clutching them it my heart, atm. But the tiny bit of dialogue scattered between the panels… "I don't care what they say. There's no way you're a monster."
YES YES YES!!!! My favourite words out of Arthur's mouth, ever. :)
LOVE IT. Go pour some lovely on this deserving artist.
