Summary: Merlin starts to receive lovely gifts (and less-lovely flowers) from a secret admirer.
Dirty Epic byplanejane [NC-17] (18k) Arthur/Merlin
Summary: Modern AU, Merlin is Arthur’s booty call. In the end, it turned out that was only the beginning, and what ensued was a story of the power of true love. It never gets old, although this story does make mention, many times, of antiques.

Short and ridiculously hot Merlin/Uther. Merlin makes an advance to distract Uther and doesn’t really mind the consequence. Delicious.
Limits and Outlines by
rufflefeather [NC-17] (~3k) Arthur/GwaineI think Arthur/Gwaine is a really hard sell and most fics of this pairing are D/s or angry sex. This one plays on that but gives me a bit more. Merlin’s life’s at risk and both Gwaine and Arthur are feeling helpless and desperate. It’s a great bonding moment for them. The whole thing just worked for me.

dreamdustmama [NC-17] (6.5k) Arthur/MerlinSummary: Arthur discovers Merlin's magic, but no matter how hard he tries he can't tell him that he knows - even when he starts having nightmares about Merlin's death.
An AMAZING reveal fic. Incredibly in character and realistic. Arthur here is heartbreaking and beautiful. I loved it.

I read this with hearts in eyes the whole time. Funny and romantic and cute as hell. Also bonus points for awesome Buffy references. Like all of this author’s fics, a sweet, fun read.

This totally lives up to the title. It’s both very dirty and very epic. I love the complexity of the relationship here. Arthur’s wants everything from Merlin, but Merlin’s guarding his heart because Arthur isn’t will to give him everything in return. Wonderfully messy relationship with burning hot sex, heart achy romance and a lovely, satisfying conclusion.
