This is wonderful! Your Arthur POV is spot on to me and you really capture why we feel so bad for him. He may be a prat, but he is an honorable, stand-up kind of guy and it breaks my heart for him that everyone he cares about is LYING to him. Your Arthur is so believable in his reaction to these lies.
I love what you did with the names on the round table. I was waiting with bated breath for the moment they got to Merlin's!
And Hunith! I really enjoy when she and Arthur interact in fanfiction and I felt this lovely, painful squeeze in my heart when she asks Arthur to forgive Merlin before the truth is known. ♥ sigh ♥
