Signal Boosting and Fic offer

thisgirl_is has her awareness/fundraising hat on again and reminded me of what I should have done earlier.

She has a post outlining the devastation seen by Pakistan recently and pointing you towards help_pakistan.

For whatever reason, Pakistan is not receiving anywhere near the level of support offered to other disasters in the last couple of years.

This is very true. Canada has very close ties to Haiti and frankly, I heard nothing for weeks but about Haiti's troubles (and rightly so). But I've been heartbroken to hear how Pakistan's tragedy has just not received the same kind of backing. Or perhaps it's just that people are feeling charity-fatigue. IDEK. But I'd love to do my part to help raise money and awareness.

Here's the tricky part. :/ I'm at my limit for writing until 2011. If I am to do this the fic will be delivered Winter 2011 after the holiday fest are over.

Disclaimer: I don't write fast or long. I've written a few fics as a thank you for people who have donated money to certain charities. I've only ever offered to do this when I truly felt I could write something within the given time frame.

THE OFFER and BIDDING POST
I had second thoughts about my original offer, which was up for about an hour. I believe 3 fics of 2k(ish) are more doable to me than one fic of 5k+
