You know, your Rose is different from her usual Hermione characterization in a few rly interesting ways. She seems to be much more of a scientist in this fic than canon!Hermione. Hermione is all about book smarts and getting it right, and your Rose has the thrill of the pursuit of discovery, which is what makes her such a hot POV for teen porn. There's a cluelessness to her, too, but she's a quick study. I liked. My favorite part was poor hot Scorpius waking to the situation and needing NEEDING to have a go, somehow, someway.
