Er? ok, so I believe that defriendings are often not personal and there are likely many people on my flist (especially the lovely non-HP fen whose finger itches to remove me because I am sure they scroll past all my posts with an eyeroll thinking: I have no idea what that chick is talking about, ever).
But you know, sometimes it is actually triggered by something more than a long avoided spring flist cleaning. And several people in one day is rather odd. So for the record:
- That beta poll? er? Nothing personal to ANYONE. It was not about me, or you or an old beta or my betaing experience in any direct way. I just woke up Friday morning and was curious about how people who (do and don't) beta feel about beta related stuff. so I asked.
- I have only read (maybe?) half of the![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
hd_career_fair fics. If your fic was posted and I did not comment or rec, I'm sure it was lovely but I very possibly have not read it. Does that make me a shitty reccer for reccing from only the fic that I happened to have been assigned to proof read? Yes. But it was that or nothing, and I felt reccing what I could was the better option.
- I suck at replying to comments. I truly apologize for this. It's rude and ungrateful, but it's not personal. I believe in being rude to everyone equally.
- If you defriend me to prove a point, it would work better if you tell me what that point is. I'm really not that clever.
But! to end on a funny note!
Crazy people! My sister (who does in fact live near a Mental Hospital) sent me this this morning
How I learned to mind my own business:
I was walking past the mental hospital the other day,
and all the patients were shouting,
'13.....13....13.'
The fence was too high to see over, but I saw a
little gap in the planks, so I looked through to see
what was going on.....
Some idiot poked me in the eye with a stick!
Then they all started shouting '14....14....14'...
