I followed this baby along devotedly while it was a WIP. It just finished posting this morning, so I can finally rec it. It’s a wonderful read. It’s set in New York and the author takes full advantage of that to create a world we don’t often see in fic. It has this great class divide of New York ~old money and the working class which adds a lot of depth to this fic. The story has all kinds of fascinating subplots going on, all tangled together as complicated histories, families and relationships are bound to get. It think the ‘au-ness’ of it may be struggle for some readers, but I found the unique presentation here to be really fresh and delightful to read.

Summary: Of all the things to finally bite him, a vampire is truly at the bottom of Stiles’ list.

Stiles get turned into a vampire and Derek helps him learn control. I approve of his methods. SO DAMN HOT. Biting kink like woah, scent kink, blood play... feralness. So many good things. Yum.
