so... I was just reading a fic which described Merlin filling out a bit in the last few years since he came of age but still lanky and thin (which is basically in 90% of the fics out there, including my own... nothing wrong with that).

ANYWAY... after seeing Colin with shoulders and pecs. *drifts off into a happy place where there will actually be a shirtless colin scene in S5*

what was I saying??? Right, me thinking. I have this undeniable craving for a fic in which Merlin as he gets into his mid-twenties loses that 'lankiness' and Arthur looks up one morning as Merlin pulls the drapes back to let in the morning sun and realises for the first time that his manservant is a gay man now.

Or possibly while bathing in a creek.

Or maybe he sees some servant girls gawking at Merlin baling hay. or fuck... chopping wood without his shirt.

And not just that he is ~attractive, because Merlin being gorgeous is a given. But Merlin being strong and unexpectedly broad shouldered and looking sculpted and well-muscled without a shirt in a way that he wasn't a few months before?

damn. I suddenly need this fic like I need air.

Is it written? Will someone write it???

Or you know... ALL THE KNIGHTS noticing Merlin's fit. And being like... sire, I think we could use Merlin's help to move this. This idea pleases me.
