friday morning ramblings...

Is anyone else out there in Merlin fandom and actually trying to avoid spoilers?

This isn't a rant about people who read spoilers, or that someone spoiled me. Any hints of spoilers I've seen are my own doing because I hang out at comms and look at posts that discuss such things (even though I try to avoid really big spoilers and any info about stuff other than casting or trailer/episode descriptions of the coming week).

I'm just feeling like I'm the only person in the universe who doesn't want to know what is happening before it airs. :/

Spoilers and really negative speculations really ruined the last two seasons of BtVS for me. I got so caught up in being pissed off about what wasn't happening, I forgot to sit back and let the story be told to me. I just don't want to get sucked into all that this time round.

Merlin's my happy show. The way I do Merlin is that the shows gives us what it gives us and everything I actually want to see happen, well that's what fic is for. As long as they don't kill my muse then I'm going to roll around in this silly show for a long time.

Summary Merlin didn’t like to think he was predictable. He just happened to be very fond of muscular men who saved his life and were nice to him. It didn’t mean he was easy, it just meant that he had a type. Lots of people had types. It was perfectly reasonable to have a type.

A fun and very sexy Merlin/Gwaine with just enough mention of Arthur that I didn’t feel like my OTP’d been forgotten.

hmm... Thinking about doing a Gwaine rec list... Like my Merlin/Arthur rec lists but for all things that read and love that is Gwaine related. y/n?
