Merlin Recs

A few recs for you fine folks on this cold Friday morning, while we wait for the next Quest.

Summary: A spell gone awry causes a series of revelations for a hapless Merlin, some more horrifying than others.

This is a really fun take on ‘Merlin can read peoples minds’ premise. Very entertaining and it’s Arthur’s ‘odd silences’ that steal the show.

Also, camelotremix posted their Reveal. And YAY!!! itachitachi wrote the lovely Sometimes we Gamble Remix. Congrats on a lovely fic! (and considering that you were very distracted by merlin_holidays at the time, extra kudos!)

Summary: Arthur goes further than he means to after a visit to the tavern, but it works out anyway.

This is an excellent remix of Backdrifts by lisztful. The original is from Merlin’s POV with a complicated, angry Arthur who Merlin just does not understand. I love that mellacita chose to now give us Arthur’s POV, to explain the choices he makes and the reason for this treatment of Merlin. Really, really well done.

Summary: Arthur knows, Merlin knows he knows, and this is all getting really a little ridiculous.

this is a remix of Carry it with you if you want to survive by shenniefish. They are fun fics on their own but both fix together are a total of 2k and are very cute reading them both, one after another.
