Summary: In which Morgana knows something Arthur doesn’t; or thinks she does, anyway.

Total Epic adventure in the grandest sense. It's a modern AU but steeped in Magic and has a real 'Camelot' feel to it, if that makes any sense to you. Merlin is a paper-pusher, Arthur is a corporate exec, but the story takes place outside of the office. It is driven by Merlin and Morgana's friendship and how together they bring all the cast of characters that we know and love together for love and magic and drama and destiny. Lovely fic.

Something Fragile (When You Hold Your Breath) by Ras Elased [NC-17] (8k)
Summary: "What the hell?" Arthur shouts over the noise of ABBA. He glares at the horribly gaudy clothing of the men on the stage that is somehow louder than the music and flashier than the multicolored swirling lights. "This isn't a strip club. This is a gay bar!"

Non-magic AU. Completely fun and sexy fic from an utterly ridiculous premise. featuring: lapdance of win!

A Kiss Is Not A Contract (But It's Very Nice) by tootsmcgonagall [PG-13] (10k)
Summary: Merlin Emrys is the newest addition to the Camelot team, a qualified Archivist employed as General Dogsbody to the pompous blond prat of a Deputy County Archivist.

Non-magic AU, in a crazy setting of Archivist. Office politics! Office romance! Lovely UST and humour in a very unusual setting.

Summary: Merlin’s eyes were so wide he felt like they might burst from his head; he could hear his heart in his ears, beating a frantic rhythm against his ribcage, and a low, keening whine escaped his throat. Was Arthur all right? Had Merlin just allowed, through his ineptitude, his prince and his destiny to be killed?

This fic is an emotional rollercoaster. It's just perfect for lovers of emo, my heart tore into a thousand pieces in this fic. But a great ride and a great read.

A Choice is All That's Left Him by mellacita [R] (4.4k)
Summary: kinkme_merlin prompt:Arthur is captured by an enemy - either a sorcerer or an enemy who has a sorcerer at his bidding. Arthur is forced to watch Merlin's difficult journey to find and rescue him through scrying; through this, Merlin's magic is revealed. Kidnapper tries to use this information against Arthur.

This fic has interesting use of timelines and possible futures. Arthur's struggles are well done. A very interesting read.

Summary: In which Merlin is hot for Arthur's bed, Arthur's hot for the laundry and there's this big fucking heatwave all over the place.

Fabulous fic. Funny and sweet and full of this soft, gentle pull between Arthur and Merlin that just sits so right with me.
