Oh God.

Haiti has been hit by a 5.9-magnitude aftershock, leading to more deaths, damaging several buildings and sending people from the nation's capital fleeing into the streets just over a week after a devastating earthquake.

That's just... devastating. *sobs*

FIC for HAITI (Round 2)

In the wake of the continuing aftershocks in Haiti, I would like to offer another fic up for auction. I realise that most of you have bid successfully on various items at help_haiti. But some of you may have lost your bid at the last minute, and I'd glad to act as a consolation prize to see a few extra dollars go to help. :D

Disclaimer: I have already committed the next month and a half or so to writing a fic for melusinahp for her bid in the first round. So the fic here may only be started in March.

Additional Info: pairing/genre of your choice, within reason. I reserve the right to push back on a request that I am not comfortable with, but I will try to be quite reasonable about this.

Donations can be made to a reputable charity of your choice that is collecting money for Haiti Relief. My personal choice happens to be Development and Peace. They already have a significant presence in Haiti and are well equipped to get help to were it is most needed. As well, the Canadian government is matching donations made by individual Canadians to eligible Canadian charitable organizations over the period of January 12 to February 12, 2010.
