Jam Jam cookies for Treacle_Tartlet

treacle_tartlet asked for something she could make with her daughter. When I think of pre-Christmas baking when I was a kid, this is the recipe I think of. My mom would bake the cookies and we would spend the day 'jamming' them (she would make several dozen). This cookie is made up of two a simple, thin cookies with a strawberry jam in the middle. They need to be sandwiches together while still warm. It's a lot of fun for kids that don't mind getting a little sticky.

We also have a rule in the house that the jammer gets to eat all the broken ones. ;)

Can I just say how utterly impressed I am with everyone's inclusive attitude? There is A LOT of kinks that I'm sure have many people scratching their heads or running away in fear *g* but when they see something they like, they have been encouraging and positive and when they don't like something, they have scrolled on passed. Exactly what this fest is all about. ♥

Sometimes it's hard to bite your tongue and not say Ew to something you think is gross, so kudos to the maturity level that is happening over there.
