3. Original Slash Rec. I finished reading janedavitt & alexasnow's Bound and Determined. and then I read it a second time. :D Srsly. I quite enjoyed it. The BDSM was well done. I loved the dynamic between the main characters. It had an interesting look at the details of how a sub and dom who don't know each other learn to trust each other. Also: 'flailing, naïve youth' meets 'established, respected dom looking for something fresh' is nnnngh and ED kink? Yes, please. ♥

4. Hols is written and in massive edit mode. YAY! No more mindlessly typing crap in!

5. Silhouettes in Sunsets is effn gorgeous. (H/D, PG-13 – based on Tom Felton's Magical Luthier prompt.) It is so lyrical and dreamlike… something quite out of the ordinary.

Kink!fic Fest

Ok... so my procrastination has reached an all time high, even for me.

accioslash posted about Sekrit Kinks and well... we all got 'em, yes? So I'm thinking, as I often do, how I love kink!fic and love short, intense PWP that just NAIL a kink, you know?

And well, what do you guys think of a Kink!fic Fest?

First! This would be no ordinary fest. I'm talking stuff like:
1) not anon, people get their 'assignments' and on the day/week/whatever that the things are due, they post them in their own LJs and I (or whomever) would post a handy list.
2) not an exchange fest so much as: submit a kink (preferably an unusual one), 1-3 pairings that you would like to see with that kink, and maybe a prompt such a mood or a place.
3) I post a list of the prompts
4) People can grab that kink and write it and post themselves on the assigned day.

Interested? yes? No? Maggie, you are fucking insane? (I won't bother with a poll because I know you'd all pick the last one).

But yeah... no pressure, no word count limits, short n' well written PWP are encouraged, almost no admin for ze mods.

ETA: OR!!! The fest could be 'write that kink that you have always wanted to', like an ownficfest kind of thing.

hey look! FEST!

So, based on the enthusiastic response to my post saying What do you guys think of a kink fest? We now have a comm. (Thank you, Lindsay!)

hp_kinkfest! Yes, indeed. Feel free to join or watch while we figure things out.

The basics:
This will be a kink driven fest, where the fics and art written/drawn will be showcasing a particular kink. It is HP fandom, only. But multi-pairing (anything goes).

It won't be an exchange fest. Likely a combination of write your own kink or opt to choose a prompt submitted by watchers. I posted a poll to figure out important stuff like interest and timing and such.
