Winter Holiday Fest Recs – Post I

December is here and our flists are FLOODED with fics. (I’ve been scrolling through and whimpering a bit to be honest). I’ll be making some sort of attempt at following hd_holidays and hp_yule_balls. I’ll be keeping my eyes on a few others but …wow… lots of fest are postings right now! Not to mention the advent drabbles.

Canadian Politics! Yikes.

Gov. Gen. Michaëlle Jean has granted a request from Stephen Harper to suspend Parliament until late next month, a move that avoids a confidence vote set for Monday that could have toppled his minority government.
