Teen Wolf: Ten Times Gerard was a creepy fuck
Disclaimer: I don’t have access to all the eps at the moment for perfect quotes/details. Mistakes are likely. Also feel free to add more (or include gif/vids) to expand the list. I know I forgot so many creeptastic moments.
Ten Times Gerard was a creepy fuck
1) Every time he’s on screen. Let’s just make that clear.
2) Telling Chris Argent that his wife’s already dead and the women beside them is a cocoon waiting to hatch a murder.
3) When he felt Allison’s pulse point as he interrogated her to see if she was lying.
4) Openly manipulating Allison just after she discovered her mother killed herself.
5) Oh so simply moving in to town and becoming principal of the school (with cameras in every classroom and hallway... and we thought Matt and his one camera was creepy).
6) Next week’s Trailer: all of it.
7) Every time he takes those pills. What the hell. We get it THEY ARE PILLS OF EVIL.
8) Casually sticking a huge knife in Scott’s gut while threatening his mom (who is just a few steps away).
9) Seeing Kanima!Jackson finally free of his master and being utterly delighted to slip right in and take on that role
10) Last but not least – the way he holds Matt underwater, knowing that Matt can’t swim, that he has a deep-seated fear of water and that he has been haunted with memories of drowning for the last 6 years. DUDE IS EVIL.
I would really appreciate him getting killed off before S3, just to stop the nightmares. D:

If he turns out to be human I will be so creeped out. :/
At least if he's some sort of creature with no soul it might explain some things.

Also, I need a TW icon.

YES!! TW ICONS. there are lots around if you google. :)

I AM ALL CAUGHT UP WITH THE REST OF YOU!
yesssssssssssssss!!!! I'm so happy to hear that. :D MONDAY CANT COME FAST ENOUGH!

He better have a horrible ending.
And what are with those pills and like you, I've no idea if he's human or not and keep looking for signs that he isn't because yes, what the heck show... how have you written freaky, scary evil being and made them human? I do not want to be reminded of how warped humanity can be? Except obviously, I do, because Monday cannot come soon enough.

I also want to see where Chris's character goes if it turns out Gerard isn't human. And Chris is like WHY DID I LISTEN TO HIM. D:
God, I hope he is not human. but also if he is human and shows himself to be MORE evil than all the other 'beasts' then maybe that will have more impact on allison and Chris.
no subject
However, Chris comes across truly interested and dedicated to protecting humans, he talks of responsibilities and doesn't bring vengeance or his personal opinions into most of his training with Allison. He has morals. I hope they stick after what Gerard and Kate have put him through.
And you are right, humanity can sometimes be the worst of instructors when it comes to evil. Let's hope the lesson doesn't leave us brutalized, because my feelings are already all over the place with the characters of this show.

I actually shouted (yesterday, after midnight) NOOOOOOOOOOO! when that happened. Freaked me out like crazy.

But yeah, Gerard's creepy. I'm pretty certain he'll die just because plot-wise this was his season and that will be it. I just hope he doesn't kill
Jacksonanyone in the process :( :( :(no subject
I agree.
If they go with the 'Buffy structure' as I call it, they will have 'little bads' (villians that appear in single eps or a 3-ep arc) then 'Big Bads' that are the season-long villian. In this case, Gerard would be the Big Bad of S2 and yes, he needs to kick it. (leaving

He is also a brilliant character. :-)
And I do hope - very much so! - that he turns out to be human. Some mundanely (hah) human evil in their midsts will do the Argents and their hunter friends a world of good. The awareness that there are all kinds of people both human and not human - good and bad - needs some help sp spread more...

The awareness that there are all kinds of people both human and not human - good and bad -
Yes. I think this could be something to plant that seed of doubt in Chris' mind about WHY there is code. and why it should be respected.
no subject
That whole demeanour he displays towards people whom he does not regard as a person any more, as you said, the way he knifed Scott because to him Scott is a thing, it is just so terribly creepy (and also a great echo of Saul Tigh - he seems completely convinced that they are all living under martial law), ugh, I really want him to be found out as the supernatural/otherwise altered human with a massive hypocrisy streak that he is.
And yet, that actor is just so good at being enigmatic and creepy, I fear we'll be stuck with him for a while yet.
no subject
I love the way you put this. YES! That's it exactly. You can see it in his eyes that you are not 'a person' to him.
I really want him to be found out as the supernatural/otherwise altered human with a massive hypocrisy streak that he is.
YES!! Although arguments made above that if he is HUMAN and this evil, then it make the Argents question their stance of human=good, werewolves=evil. (ie: the world is not so blank and white).
I'll be happy with either, just as long as everyone finds out exactly what he's done.
no subject
I'm not even sure the Argents see the world in black and white; Allison is still pretty new to all of this and is mainly now raging with grief, and her father, I think, goes by a code more than questioning the worldview behind the code. So this is going to be interesting!
In view of recent events in the US, I remember that the scene in which Allison displays her father's weapons arsenal (series 1) mainly triggered a knee-jerk reaction of "Whow, that's a huge load of heavy weaponry to be held almost unsecured (and accessible to minors) in a private household; all Derek Hale has to do is involve the local authorities and claim grievous bodily harm" - but I do realise that the legal and social circumstances of leetle Mother Country do not apply...(also, it's a TV show, Bohemia, get a grip).

Although there's no denying he's a great character, and makes others (particularly Chris) a lot more interesting to me.
This series continues to blow me away.

\o/
but that scene with Matt was just...horrifying.
THIS! D:
He is a fabulous character. But it's time for him to DIE. lol.

MATT D: Honestly never thought I would feel bad for him, haha. I have nervous feelings about drowning anyway, but the way Gerard did it was just so chilling and ugh. Yep. He definitely needs to be dying VERY SOON.

Gerard is an utter creep but I like how he's making the plot move forward instead of it being stuck on the usual teenage love wangst.
