Alone! er... not really. I still have one munchkin, but otherwise guests and husbands and other children are out of the house! Woot! I haven't had a proper moment alone with my keyboard since Dec 22nd. *strokes keyboard lovingly*

Things to do today and tomorrow to catch up!

1) pet my poor inbox. I'm sorry darling for deserting you. My apologies to anyone who sent me something over the hols and received no reply (or a really lame one). :(

2) try to catch up on flist. I'm been skimming for almost two weeks, if you made an entry that you want me to see (or think I'd be interested in something) don't be shy, send me a link please!

3) catch up on comments. I've been reading and reccing, but I've left like no comments lately. *meep* I need to go back and do that!

hp_kinkfest stuff

5) I'd love to do that end of year writing meme (if nothing else, it will poke me to update my masterlist)

6) post another rec for hd_holidays. Woot! Thank you to the mods for giving us 2 weeks to catch up before reveals.

I had a lovely Christmas and New Years! We had a lot of fun with the kids and all the visitors. I hope you did as well. I missed you guys lots, though. *clings*

Glad you had a great Christmas, hon! *hugs* Enjoy your peace. My kids are on holidays for seven weeks and they seem to have multiplied. I know I only gave birth to two, yet there never seems to be less than four kids at my house at any one time. Sigh. *closes eyes and goes to happy place* 3 weeks of holidays left...

Welcome back! I am also petting the keyboard lovingly this morning, after sending the S.O. and (still here) in-laws to Neighbouring City for touristy stuff today. *flops down* It's nice to have the quiet, isn't it? And I've just been herding adults around! I don't know how you do it with kids. :)

The 2-week catch up at hd_hols is definitely awesome. I'm always sort of busier this week of the year, and then reveals happen the 3rd or 4th and I'm always a bit sadface because I hadn't read anything since before Christmas. :/ *catches up*

One good thing is that visiting adults tend to be on 'entertain children' duty. and that works out nicely. I'm just responsible for that cooking and cleaning and dealing with the kids when it gets to much. :D

Fests often do this last 7 posts of awesome-long-fics and people read those posted on the last day and then those 20ks posted on the second/third last day get no love. This works out nicely. :D

Except for those of us that have been waiting for reveals for a long time. LOL.
