The Danger in Listening by snarkyscorp

Scorpius is a fascinating, slightly disturbed, total control freak that is utterly out of control. The relationship with Harry is just as naughty and complicated and painful as a cross gen should be and even more so given Scorpius' issues.

It is five chapters in. Each chapter gets better and better. Go. Enjoy.

edited to add: squick warning! I almost forgot. Anyone with certain pairing combo issues (you know who you are) may want to be careful with this one.

What a lovely name!
But ... is this the name the dove has in the movie? I am still wondering where such a scene and a dove would fit into the HBP movie. Or is it the name Rickey or you gave it? You must have seen Dyson's story about it, of course, where its name is Harry ;-).

We named it Kate in homage to rickey's Romeo series (where all Draco's owls are Shakespearean characters.)

I chose Kate from Taming of the Shrew. :D

I haven't read Dyson's story!!! I've got my hear buried in fests and I'm missing everything. *Goes off to read*

Oh good it's your name. I don't think I could have handle movie!HBP with Draco talking to a dove named after Katie Bell.

Kate from Taming of the Screw is so fitting. But let's not have doves with wrung necks in that movie either.

Jumping in. Hi all! [waves]
1. you are totes right about no Kate-named birds for Malfoy, Vaysh.
2. THis icon actually makes me think of your fic. I know Draco is the phoenix/bird and doesn't have a pet bird in we are legend, but still, it kind of connects for me.
3. and it also makes me think of the owl series by byblythe which I can't be arsed to look up and link you to right now but you can find it. It is the best non-smutty h/d story I have ever read. [thinks about that...could that really be true?] Yes. [stands by answer]
