A fabulously dirty, complex Harry/Scorpius WIP:
The Danger in Listening by
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
Scorpius is a fascinating, slightly disturbed, total control freak that is utterly out of control. The relationship with Harry is just as naughty and complicated and painful as a cross gen should be and even more so given Scorpius' issues.
It is five chapters in. Each chapter gets better and better. Go. Enjoy.
edited to add: squick warning! I almost forgot. Anyone with certain pairing combo issues (you know who you are) may want to be careful with this one.

A super sekkrit email to you saying GO READ THIS IT HAS H/D would mean that. I'm not so subtle.
It was meant as a warning to accioscar and her inter-family-pairings squicks. I need to find better super sekkrit messaging, I think.
Everytime I see your icon it makes me think of rickey_a's birthday greeting to me in which that dove sends me his love. :D

LOL! That'd be me then. Yes, I have issues. I admit it! ;D Thanks for the warning, hon! And, yes, I had to avoid 'The Honey Trap' too!

I loved that picture and that birthday greeting of Draco and Rickey so much!!

Hmmm, I may have to post about this...

btw - the Dove names is Kate.

What a lovely name!
But ... is this the name the dove has in the movie? I am still wondering where such a scene and a dove would fit into the HBP movie. Or is it the name Rickey or you gave it? You must have seen Dyson's story about it, of course, where its name is Harry ;-).

But Accio Romance is just fine for you. and I HIGHLY recommend it.
Re: getting philosophical
The forbidden nature of Harry/Scorp has a lot to do with who Harry is (which is obvious) but also where Scorpius comes from, how he was raised, how his father and his grandfather feel about Harry which is (or isn't) ingrained in Scorpius.
The lure of Harry/Scorpius is not unlike that of Snarry. There is a rivalry there that trancends generations. A 'history' that exists even before the two meet. Harry/Scorpius lets you build their dynamic from scratch but it also give you a lot to build on.

I chose Kate from Taming of the Shrew. :D
I haven't read Dyson's story!!! I've got my hear buried in fests and I'm missing everything. *Goes off to read*

Kate from Taming of the Screw is so fitting. But let's not have doves with wrung necks in that movie either.
Dyson's story is awfully cute!

Thanks for the rec and now seriously considering that COMM.
Re: getting philosophical
btw - I've totally been toting Harry/Scorpius is the new Snarry since Flic put Scorpius in a kilt and I fell head over heels. *g*

But thanks for the 'Accio Romance' rec, I'm gonna read that one tonight. *is SO behind*

But there's MORE out there!!!! ::salivates::
that COMM is looking more and more like a fabulous idea. (remember when you had that tiny little idea about 'someone should do a fan art prompt fest?? we all know what happened to that silly idea.)

But I don't think the author's been posting to comms? At least not hp_cross_gen and mysonmyenemy.
So yeah, I'm late but LOUD!!!! *shouts my love from the rooftops*

*dies of the hotness just thinking about it*
Seriously, I would never hold out on you with stuff like that. The dirty lovelies must always be shared!

With the author's permission I'll be adding it to my Cross Gen rec list to share the love.
It is fab!

1. you are totes right about no Kate-named birds for Malfoy, Vaysh.
2. THis icon actually makes me think of your fic. I know Draco is the phoenix/bird and doesn't have a pet bird in we are legend, but still, it kind of connects for me.
3. and it also makes me think of the owl series by byblythe which I can't be arsed to look up and link you to right now but you can find it. It is the best non-smutty h/d story I have ever read. [thinks about that...could that really be true?] Yes. [stands by answer]
That is all.

Edit: Let's talk next week or the week after about it. Family and work are bit overwhelming right now.

1. I am just saying: please no.
2. I am awfully partial to anything bird-related to Draco these days ... thus the icon. Yes. You read Sansa's story about Draco being a bird animagus?
3. non-smutty h/d byblythe. Yes, I will look it up!

There are two others after this one. So don't miss them. They are all really short and oh oh oh oh oh so good.

Yup it was me. An old saying in the Buffy fandom:
Spawns the new Spuffy. (which likely means nothing to you...)
